your cupcakes.this time i just wanna share a topic with ya guys, i think it's pretty interesting
firstly, check this vid out!
hmmhmhm, i believe every single one has his/her own way of learning for instance me, i'm a visual learner who sometimes can be a tactile learner.. confusing eh? haha. idk whether there're people who're similar outside.
how bout ya guys? what type are ya?
based on the video you just watched above,i'm talking bout a simpler thing here, memorizing and understanding vocabularies, we havent discussed about learning in a wide way. the guy in the video said to memorize the words better and longer, we can use the gestures of our body, we can connect the word with a movement that we create, it's quite make sense for me. i tried several times with different words just after i watched it, let say "moribund" which means approaching death, i suddenly created a movement like i'm dying, it helps me remember the word better. just like he said one more time, 'do the same movement everytime you hear the word' you gotta try it guys! now, talking bout the method of learning in a wider one, i mean school stuffs, you know them so well, biology to the history, i know guys...i know.. it's sometimes hard for us to memorize and understand the theories, it drives us nut oftently, admit it! let me share about my experiences. some fellas might think i'm a diligent student, ha ha you're totally wrong buddies!! well, but thanks. may God bring you to the right way! actually, i'm in the middle level, neither too lazy, nor too diligent. i'm a moody person even for study. for instance, sometimes i can be really passionate about school, when i feel this way, i'd like to bring my text books home and read them in my spare time, not just read them if i've understood the chapters well, i'd also like to do the excercises. on the contrary, when i really really feel droopy, i can be totally 'untouched' by anything. for the worst, i won't care bout taking notes during the lessons. it ever happened, guess my score!!
not really F actually, but it was baad!
we all know, in any process, the effort determines the result. now allow me to list several tips about studying as a student, it's up to you whether you agree or not. this is mine :)
1. put away your gadgets, except if you need your laptop to surf the net. cellphones?? i suggest you to keep it for a while, make it silent!
2. for visual leaners, ^5 high five with me!

- Use a non-distracting movement while you learn (i.e. tapping pencil, shaking foot, chewing gum, holding something)
- Chew a different flavor of gum with each subject you study
- Try listening to non-distracting music
- Use musical rhythms for memorization patterns
- Make rearranging items a physical activity (don't draw connecting arrows-put them on separate cards to physically rearrange)
- Rewrite information to be remembered
- Act things out (use gestures when speaking, point to material being read or discussed)
- Use the computer to edit and rewrite lecture notes
- Take frequent study breaks
now, you can take your cellphone or do what you wanna do, like going to the kitchen taking some munchies and drinks to please yourself.
6. don't make the 5th tips longer! usually students like us are too confident by considering ourself have memorized and understood all the topic we've read just once. NO, YOU HAVEN'T!! repeat what you've learned and repeat again till you're sure.
7. most of the teachers, if you ask them how to memorize their lesson longer, will suggest you to read your notes again after school. (i dont know if it works or not cause i have never tried it)
8. don't hesitate to ask your teacher even just right before the quiz about the
topic you havent understood yet. if you think you need a tutorial, then go for it!
9. last but not least, no matter if you're a visual, auditory, or tactile learners, don't have qualms to try the other's ways of learning. who knows you're type is a combination.
